Vertical Cast Progress Bar (resizable)
 

Hi all

The link below is for my "eq2ui_mainhud_casting.xml" The problem i have is a cant resize it so i can have it Vertical, it only allows me to have it going across my screen & not down it :(

Is there anyone who can have ago at modifying it so it can be Vertical instead of Horizontal (or both) & still be resizable :) ?

Reason why im using this one is the name of the casting spell is inside the bar itself & not hovering outside it

You need to use a different progressbar style. I think the basic vertical one is ProgressBar.Vitality instead of ProgressBar.Horizontal. If you want it to go from the top to the bottom you need to make a progress bar style of your own that is both vertical and inverted.

Ive tried making custom pieces of my UI but to no avail, I was hoping someone might give it ago for me on here :)

If you want it to fill "correctly" you need to devise yoru own progressbar. as far as making it go from top to bottom i believe its just a normal vertical style. Look at the bars in Laffs Lite for an example

Also I think the bars react to what DD tag they have for example the casting fills from bottom to top and the breath from top to bottom.... I did nothing to make them fill that way they just did....

Just as well coz I was wondering how the heck I was going to get them to reverse :p

So all you need do is set it to vertical

Actually, if you look at it, they fill the same.
When your casting, you are going from 0 to 100%, so it fills from bottom to top.
When you are underwater, you are holding your breath from 100% to 0%, so its "emptying" from top to bottom. If it empties from top to bottom, logic shows that it would fill from bottom to top.
