Would like to have PLEASE?

Hello!
I have been coming to your site for awhile now, hoping to find what I was "needing" as yet I haven't, although I have found some GREAT things So I want to take a minute and thank you all for doing this for those of us who can't.

Now, The requests

Could I please get an xp bar, just a little bit longer (wider would be great too!) than the default I would also like, if it's not too much trouble a better (more colorful?) way of seeing xp toward next level as well as xp debt. Being as I am slightly visually impaired, the colors and size as they are now (the default) are just too hard for me to see.

Also, the map with all the icons and Poi's could that be made so that I can resize it so it doesn't block my whole screen and can see where Im going, or at least keep the "trail glow" up if I need to close or move the map.

I have seen the minimap but it doesn't look like that one works with the updater version as in the pics I have seen of the mini map I don't see the little colored "dots".

Thank you all in advance for any assistance with this... I ALWAYS reccomend your site to ANYone who might ask for a location of something (or even if they don't)
Keep up the terrific work!

If you need to close the map, but want the glowy trail to remain, simply use the "M" key to close the map instead of the "close" button.

And I can tell you with absolute certainty that the minimap still works fine. I use it all the time. ;)

Thank you for Responding Darryl
Im not sure why the minimap isn't working... I have a way to minimize it but that just leaves me with the title bar of the map and nothing else. I can try again to d/l it, maybe I got the "wrong" version. As for losing my glowy trail when I move or minimize the map...I have the Zboard gaming keyboard with the limited edition EQ2 keyset so when I close/open my journal, map, inventory, etc it is with a push of a button.
I am presuming that the keyboard is set to use the (letters) default keymap for the game
.

I'll see what I can do...

I'll see what I can do regarding a larger EXP bar that is easier to read...

As for the map, I believe I have a simple solution that has worked for me.
Simply change the map window options so that it will fade out completely when your mouse it not over the window.
This will enable you to run along without and viewing restrictions, then when you wish to review the map you just move your mouse over the map window to view it.

Hope this helps, and don't hesitate to let me know if I need to explain how to do this...

I'll get back to you on the EXP bar...

I think you are hitting the wrong button, or you got the wrong minimap plugin. Both of the following two links have Talyn's Plugin.

Mook Map w/ Talyn's mini-map plugin

FetishMaps v4.0

If you use the FetishMaps, the mini-map button is the 3rd from the left, NOT the first one.

I got the minimap to work finally YAYAYAYAYAYA!!!!
Your thought does help though as I can use it even with the little map.
I appreciate the help with the xp bar as that will be soooo much better when I can see it.

Do you want percentages to show or would you rather just have the bar?
Also, do you want Tradeskill and Guild level or just your Adventure level?

What screen resolution do you play at and how big would you like it?

Thanks and I appologize for not asking these questions sooner. : :o

It's quite alright about the questions...shows me your out to do it right<smile>
I have my resolution set at 1152 x 864.
Im not real sure on measurements or how to describe it but if you could make it maybe about 1/4 more bigger (width and length) or if possible make it sizeable. Tradeskill is not a big thing with me, since I don't craft (no patience for it) but the idea of seeing guild and adventure progression/levels intrigues me.
Yes please on the %'s whichever is easier either contant or mouseover is kool and the little - - - that make up the % to next level... would love it if you could make them more defined. Same with the colors maybe not so close to the "default" backround would help me identify debt/exp/vitality ect.
And again...no worries on the questions, if you have anymore PLEASE feel to ask away!
Again....THANK YOU SO MUCH for doing this for me!

Here you are,
Let me know if you have any issues with it.

Backup my current one in case you hate this one. ;)
Then just unzip and place the xml file in the ThorUI folder.

Thank you very much for getting to this so quick!
I have a folder set up for my (testing) UI pieces so I can place it in there and if I love it, then it goes in permenant. if I hate it (gosh I hope not!) it gets moved out and then the default takes over again.
I have logged out for the night but I WILL test it first thing tomorrow, more comments after I have.

Faetyl

Im sorry I haven't come back before now, have had some computer/internet troubles and haven't been able to.

I did want to return and to thank you again for the exp bar mod you made for me I really like that it is sizeable and I can see the dashes/xp % now! it helps a whole lot!
If I had anything negitive to say about it, I think it would be the colors, the tan and pink(for debt) are still a bit hard to distinguish, but it does help that the % of debt shows numerically and the bold effect on the #'s is great! :nana:

Again Thank you very much, and if you do decide to get into anymore aspects of mods for us (blind as bats) gamers PLEASE let me know and I will for SURE check them out!
