I took a look into the code. And it seems that he did not find a file which he just checked for some lines above.
Well i added some lines to the code that will give a better description for the error message.

Please take the Zip File attached and do the following:

• Go to your EQ2MapUpdater Folder (Normaly: c:\program files\eq2mapupdater).
• Rename the EQ2MAP_Updater.exe to EQ2MAP_Updater.exe_old
• Extract the File from the ZIP-Archive to this folder
• run the updater again.
• ... post the new error message here again :-)

This version is no offical release of the Updater. If Taco-man eventualy comes past here he might have a better idea ;-)

Ok i have no idea.

Taco-man might help. Though i would recoment to try to reinstall the .net Framework... This does not look like the problem is in the updater.
