incompatible ui mod
 

I'm having some issues. My journal mod won't work. I've tried more than one, yet it still pops up a message everytime i log in that my ui mod is not compatible with the quest journal. it tells me i need to either revert to the default, or upgrade. am i doing something wrong, or where can i upgrade?

If you can edit your journal widow with note pad you can fix it. You need look for the FIRST line and make SURE that is has Version="1" in it. Here is my line #1 from journal_quest.xml:

That whole line of course is ONE line in the notepad editor.

The key is the Version="1" at the END of that line BEFORE the >

This will fix it.

If all you do is take a pre-LU10 quest journal mod and add the version number to it, well, yes, the journal will show up in the game, but it won't work properly, 'cause you won't have the collections tab and thus won't be able to access or advance your collection quests.

There are already quite a few LU10-compatible journal mods available here, including upgrades to several of the more popular ones. If the one you use hasn't been upgraded yet, choose another or just use the default until it is.
