Question about maps
 

Hello, I recently installed EQ2MAP with the updater... in my EQ2 dir, i have UI/EQ2MAPS

I have noticed all the .dds files are there etc, but for some reason the game still uses the defualt maps (but all the points of interest show up).

Is that the way its supposed to be? Or are there user made maps that should show instead?

if the zone has a map made by sony already we dont replace it, there are just custom maps for zones that dont have them. the following is a list of all the zones that have custom images. please forgive the formatting, i just pulled it out real quick from the database.

I cannot get a map in Oakmyst Forest and don't know why.
All I can get there is a world-view map not a local area map with quest help etc.
I have run the auto-updater.
I'm wondering what I might be doing wrong and really would appreciate help.
