Help! Crashing to desktop
 

Ok, I'm new to EQ2 and very new to the UI mods here. I have the EQ2map mod installed and had it working fine. After I patched this morning I keep getting an error after I press play that says, "Failed to init Arial. You may need to reboot before all fonts load." and the game crashed back to desktop.

Now, because I'm new to the game and the UI mods, I'm not sure what is causing this. So I have removed all the EQ2map files from my EQ2 directory (yes, including the .ini file) but it's still crashing with the same message. I've tried a reboot and that didn't work either.

So does this sound like a mod problem or an EQ2 problem?

Edit - ok, so I've come to find out that the servers are down atm for a patch. Hopefully that's all that is causing my problems though it seems odd that I'd get an error like I did instead of just a "servers are down" message or something.

I was having this same problem on 2 seperate machines with totally different hardware (one AMD/NVIDIA, one INTEL/ATI). Both machines seem to be working fine now.
