High Definition UI

Hey guys, im Looking to do something special. Let me give you some background.

i have a 62" HDTV, with a radeon 9700 pro video card. i also have the ATI HD Adapter that allows me to port my Vid signal to Component video signal. NOW the bad news. i found out AFTER i bought my tv, that it only supports 480P and 1080i resolutions. Now the 1080i would be great, BUT, the i means interlaced. and anyone that knows anything about grafics, will tell you that interlacing is BAD for fonts. i can see the grafics of the game great, but the fonts are all blurred at the 1080 rez. i am looking for someone that might be able to mod the game windows, All of them, to a bit larger.

i can increase the Chat font size great, but the other menu's and game data i can not see. just to dang blurry. anyone think they can help? or maybe there is a mod already out there that can work for me. if anyone has any idea's, let me know. thanks

Simplest option would be to edit the default fonts, bumping the font size up a few points. Could result in some clipping if the larger sizes don't fit inside object boundaries, but its way faster then editing every window. There's usually enough padding around text in the default UI to accomodate +2-4 pts.

Linking to a similar request a while ago, this should help out.

are you serious your tv doesn't support 720P as well? 720p is the standard used by almost everyone. just seems odd that your tv wouldn't support it /shrug. The crappiest thing is there will be a 1080P also, however i doubt it will be used much cause of bandwidth needed. Sorry for my useless post, i just am at a loss really
