Go to Control Panel/system/hardware/driver signing Then put it on ignore so it can install.

Thats how I did it.

Fatal error

After the login and charactor selection screens for EQ2, I hit play and EQ acts like it wants to start, but then I get this error message.

E:\live\Eq2\framework\core\devices\src\directx9renderdevice.cpp

Fatal error Eq2 must shut down.....

HELP! ! !What have I done?

I upgraded my WinXP Pro to Windows 7 Pro last night but that is all I have done.

First, stop rezzing ancient threads that are unrelated to your problem, since win 7 didn't even exist when they were made.

Next, try updating your DirectX. If that doesn't work, make a _new_ thread with your problem here or on the official SOE boards.
