To Level, or to Mod, that is the question!

Well, I've been busting my hump trying to get my ranger to level. I'm finally at 30, and 80% to my next level. The problem is all the great recent discoveries that have been made lately, have got me really conflicted on weather I want to spend my precious fun time on making mods, or playing the game! What a hard decission.

Seems I can only do one, my brain doesn't like to switch between the two modes, I guess.

Do you guys actually still play? Have any stratagies? Like Mod for a week, and play for a week? etc..

Lol, Other than lvling a new toon to 8 so I could test the traits window, I haven't put XP on a toon in a month or more :p

BTW, that lvl 8 toon is still walking around with a green cross button up :D

31 monk, 18 would be shadow knight, 20 cleric (ones worth mentioning)

Well due to modding all my friends have out leveled my monk by close on 14 lvls now :( , so she's on hold I guess, Shadow knight started off as the "mod test" toon but I actualy liked playing it so its getting more use lately...

Anyway to the point what I do is usualy work on a mod / fixing somthing for about 3 - 4 hours, then have a few hours playtime, Depending on how well the mod is working out... But I still find myself looking at things thinking "I wonder if this would work, maybe if I change this.... etc" so there is no real escape from modding lol.... But to me its as much fun as playing the game itself and at time's more rewarding!....

I have never been a one to want to get a toon up in levels real quick anyways I like to mess about and discover as much I can about whats around me rather than spend hours in the same spot gain a load of lvls then move on without realy knowing "what was down the other corridoor" so to speak..
Each to there own..... Thats just what me does ;)

If /played worked in UIbuilder or on these boards, I'd be ashamed of myself.

Fortunately they don't! :D

They should add a UI experience bar.

I've customized a few of the mods that I've downloaded (for my own tastes), but find that I'm generally too drived towards leveling than I am to work on the mods. I have a list of things that I'd like to work on, but am racing the rest of my guild to 50, so it'll have to wait a month or two.
