Things to do between Beta and Retail
 

Since Beta ended at Noon on Sat, Many of us had to find things to do while we waited patiently (or impartiently) for Retail Stores to get copies, or our mail orders to come in.

Thought I would share what I did.

Sun: Wife and I bought an early Xmas present for ourselves: Premium* Annual passes to Disneyland (and went for a few hours)

Mon: Decided to add muscle to my main machine: Upgraded to AMD 64/3200+ and added 1 gig of ram, for a total of 2 gigs of ram and a faster proccessor

So, what did everyone else do?

i cleaned up my computer a bit (took off eq 1 and ffxi...still keeping CoH though)
fooled around with the WoW and Guild Wars betas...ummm I think I slept at one point.

Cutanea

i got my old amiga 500 out and startet to play alien breed for some time and after i got done with that i made sure i had all the right drivers for my comp installed for eq2

I built 2 machines, reinstalled my main.
played and beat a long list of stand alone games
carefully took apart my system and cleaned all the conductors with Qtips and alcohol
and after reading Averad's post, I'm off to camp my local gamestop :)

Cry because customs are holding my parcel up and it won't clear till the 11th :o(

Cleaned up my computer removed a long list of games I never play any more. Beat GTA:VC again. Took apart my computer then cleaned the case mobo etc. Purged my watercooling system cleaned pump tank lines and reinstalled.

Anyone who has a copy reserved with gamestop leave work now and get your copy they seem to be handing them out of a 1st come 1st serv basis.
