First off thanks----then a font request.
 

First off I want to thank you all for your awsome work - my UI thanks you ;-)

I know this might sound strange but I really really like the font in WoW chat windows - I think it has to do with the slight 3D backdrop to the solid and bright and thick white lettering. If any of you guys know what that font is and how to possibly implement it I would really appreciate it.

It is very easy to read against a see through background.

However- I was wondering if it is possible to just make the chat windows use that font and maintain the traditional EQ font for the rest. I like the semi scriptish look of it on my quest journals etc.

and from what I have read you guys need a dancing banana as motivation so here is a few ;-) :nana: :nana: :nana:

I have been looking into this a little more at least. I am a complete novice when it comes to coding however.

Is it even possible to have different fonts in different windows? And it appears to me that it is an arial bold font in WoW maybe? But with a 3d effect and it is also usable in different colors - all stuff I am not sure of the answers to. Thanks again for any help you guys can hand down.

And I know you're all busy with the patch fixes etc...

You can set the font to individual texts if you want to. If its something that isnt natively EQ2 then you need to do some copying and pasting in various areas. I have not done this personally mind you.

Chat text I would imagine works too but again, I haven't done it.
