New Chat Window - Extra lines?
 

Hey all,

Just got back from a weeks vacation and updated DarqUI. Noticed that the chat window was updated and now it seems to have an extra space or two from the bottom up. Was this by design? I don't see any options to change this.

I uploaded an example of one from a couple of months ago and one from tonight showing what I mean.

It was indeed by design; the game developers made this improvement to the default Chat window. Input line text size has a new slidebar in Options > User Interface > Chat Window. DarqUI custom Chat windows were updated to be compatible.

is there a way to remove the annoying gap at the bottom, that is now there ?

I'm not in love with it either, but for right now it's what we have to work with. I'm glad the developers are making Default UI adjustments for players with higher resolution systems. The chat input line is definitely a good place to start.

I spent some time last Tuesday trying to resize the line dynamically as you change the font size, but there is some internal hard-wiring that I can't overcome. Will try again when there is some free time.
