New DarqUI user, trouble with autoattack.
 

Hey all,

Long time EQ2 player, used ProfitUI back in the day. Was using it for Origins as well, a little buggy but worked fine. Wanted to try out DarqUI as this seems to be the new jam.

I deleted my ProfitUI folder and installed DarqUI. Everything seems to be working well, I watched some youtube video about set up to make sure i understood how things worked, etc.

Problem is now I cant get the default autoattack timer to show up. I see the one on the threat bar. Not really my style, I prefer the big timer right below my cast bar to help with timing attacks and stuff. I've even tried installing a new auto attack bar from eq2interface here with no avail.

Even more crazy is, i see the auto attack bar window when I hit F10. I have turned the opacity all the way up, and I can get teh big black window that says "Auto Attack" to pop up when I engage in combat, however the actual bar doesnt show up.

I've tried it with the threat meter auto attack bar turned on and turned off. Window pops up but not the bar.

I searched around and didnt see anyone with this problem, so figured I'd post to ask around.

The window you're seeing may be the custom window you installed from eq2interface. If it's not working for you, I recommend removing it for now. Check the checkbox for

Options > User Interface > Game Windows > Show Autoattack Bar

And see if that works. Get into combat with a melee weapon and the bar should match the one on the DarqUI Threat window. If you're seeing the large default window but not the bar, try resizing the window taller.



Incidentally, the DarqUI autoattack bars have an audible signal that you might like to use for timing your attacks along with the default autoattack window. Open the window manager to the Threat page and click the button at the bottom. If you like the sound but not the bars, disable the bars and enable the audible.

Thanks, it was the resizing issue. I had to make it much bigger to find where the bar was being displayed and then resize it appropriately. Only problem now is even with the same delay on my weapons, I have two auto attack bars instead of just one. Maybe it'll work itself out with upgrading weapons later on or something.
