Charm Slot Bug
 

Hi there, I originally posted this in the EQ2 forums, and a dev noted they can't reproduce my issue with their standard UI. So I'm here!

I'm not able to macro my charm slots anymore. I am told "___ cannot be equipped in that slot" and when I look at the macro steps, the charm slots (slot 1 and slot 2) are missing. I'm unsure of when this started occurring as I've been away from the game for some years.

There's nothing to use on those charm items.

Those items are only able to add to your stats. Look at your stats, and equip those items and remove them and you will see that you stats will go up/down as they are equiped and removed.

so I believe those (after reading your "old" thread on forums, are working as attended. They dont' have a "use" feature. and that is why you don't see the drop down menu.

Now with that being said, you should still have the options "slot 1" and "slot 2".

try updating with the darqUI utility. you might have an old file.

Correct, but I am trying to equip them. Their effects are only good if worn/equipped.

I do have the latest DarqUI installed.

This may be an item-specific bug, which in this case is on EQ2's end and not DarqUI. My "fighting" charms showed up with Charm Slot 1 and 2, but not these.

DarqUI does not modify the Edit Macro window. If you would rather use the default UI, type /loadui default in the chat window.
