saving UI positions

Not sure if this has been posted yet, but...
Is their a way to save the positions of your UI, cause evertime i want to try out a new UI, it needs to be arranged ocording to the maker. But if i decide i like another better i have to go back and re arrange it back to what i had.

Any info would be greatly appreciated and thank you.

My method for this is to create a copy of your servername_charname_eq2_uisettings.ini into another folder or just rename it within the main folder for backup. Since I've been following Perditions mod through the various versions I copy the UI into the folder for that version of the UI for safe keeping. Then overwrite the live one with his new ini.

Somewhere on these forums someone posted a batchfile that you could write to copy your settings to other characters also.

I didn't save the thread, but it's here someplace.
I'm sure everyone that uses these forums is keeping backups of the INI files! It's not fun to have to adjsut all your windows, you figure that one out really quick.

Thank you it helped out tremendously, thanks.

I do have another question though, will make another post if not answered here, i have seen some peoples UI look as though they didn't have the black bars on top and bottom of their window. Like as if watching a widescreen movie. Is their a way to remove those bars from the top and the bottom so my whole screen is in game viewable?

Thank you again for the help, and appreciate your time.

StartButton:Options:Display:Letterbox

Just move the slider to the size you prefer and uncheck the box to turn off the gold frames.
