UI Testing at Character Select Screen
Doing the 'RUN' in the UI Builder only helps with certian things.
If doing UI Modifications that don't use dynamic data, it seems to me it would be useful for us to have a mod that will bring up the UI while we are at the character select screen. It does bring up a UI of sorts on that screen, but doesn't load the total UI. I think this can be modified with the xml login file. I'm sure it wouldn't be much different than the Full function zoning mod by DB. Would this be useful to you guys? Anyone working on this already? |
Would be good if when you hit the "run" in the builder that it would allow you to simulate a full group of people with hps values and stuff changing, as working on a group window and finding a full group to test it with is no easy task! lol as nobody is willing to sit around whilst you log in and out to make changes.
Probably never going to happen but would save a lot of time :p |
That was how i started modding! Back in the day, i pasted everything in mouseovericons.xml. Turn the game on, check spacing, turn the game off.
