Unable to launch the application
Hello, I've reinstalled everquest2, eq2 maps, and profit. But the profit updater fails to launch. I've tried all the tips I can find on the forums but still no luck.Tried uninstalling and reinstalling profit and java 3 times but it still gives me the folllowing exceptions. Any help would be much appreciated.

Try path C:\Users\Public\Sony Online Entertainment\Installed Games\EverQuest II
Sony originally was installing under the user account path.
A while back they changed the default path to C:\Users\Public\Sony Online Entertainment\Installed Games\EverQuest II check to see if it is there. If so, point the installer to that path. I had the same issue installing the updater until I did same. Also copied over my profiles to the same directory and it works fine. Also be aware that you need to swap the first and second line of the eq2.ini file to get Profit to load to game properly after the last update. The line with the UI Directory goes first. Otherwise you will get the new interface and a PITA. |
I'm having the same issue with launching the updater, as I was tryin to make sure my files are compliant with ToV. However, my EQ2 folder is not in that path. It's on my D drive, in the Sony Online Entertainment/Installed Games/Everquest2 directory. Thoughts?
