G15 stats working EXCEPT Damage Per Second (DPS):
 

Hello,

I have a logitech G13 game board (same LCD screen as the G15 Keyboard).

I have tried using the G15 HUD which comes with EQ2 (as of GU43), and I have also downloaded Xndienx's G15 Mod (works identical to the one included with EQ2).

ALL statistics show up correctly on the G13 LCD, EXCEPT Damage Per Second (DPS). DPS is always listed as zero "0". I am using a Guardian. Shouldnt melee damage register?

Is anyone else using a G13/G15 and getting the DPS to register correctly?

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I have the latest drivers/logitech software for the G13.

It bears asking: is your DPS stat in your in-game persona window (under autoattack heading on the stats pop-out) non-zero? DPS is a statistic that boosts your autoattack damage, but at the lower end it's not common so it may be that the stat is actually zero. The DPS stat is not your damage per second that you'd see in ACT for example, your total damage per second is not tracked within EQ2 at all. It's possible you might be confusing the two.

If you have a non-zero DPS stat in your persona window and it's still showing up as 0 on the G15 then it may be an issue with the dynamic data, but lets check the simplest possibility first.

Oi! That was it.

I'm new to EQ2. I'd never noticed there was a "DPS" stat listed on my character screen.

I'll just tweak with the way ACT displays on the LCD and stick with that applet.

No problem. It's a confusing stat, they would have been better off going with something longer but more descriptive (like "% Autoattack Damage") instead of DPS, since DPS is generally and non-mmo-specifically used to mean total damage per second instead.
