Quest Tracker w/ Clicky

Does anyone know of a quest tracker (the list of current quests on the HUD) that include a clickable icon of an item that needs to be used in that quest?

i was just yesterday thinking something like this would be awesome or maybe a way to filter certain things to certain bags automagiclly

Both are not possible.

I mean, you could make a long database of code that includes Quest Names with an item ID attached so it would try to cast that item, but considering some items have to be equipped, it wouldn't be all that successful.

Also, the man hours it would take to make a decent database would be something not many people would want to do.

maybe it should be a feature request made of Eq2 devs and not moders.
eq2 mod development has be stagnant for years now as it appears everything that can be done has been done with what there is to work with.
is there even a UI dev any more?

They still have devs that work on the UI (after all, look at the beastlord and merc UI elements) but it generally seems to be in support of other features rather than by demand. There's always the chance, but unless its really high demand it's probably not going to happen these days.

In this case, something like the OP asked I would doubt would be something they would tackle. That's not to say they wouldn't approach the problem, just not that particular solution. IIRC, they were looking at a way of improving how quest items are stored and used, but as with most of their "things they'd like to do" who knows when anything would happen.
