Sortable Inventory
 

I've searched through the forums to see if one has raised this before and found nothing.
I would like to have the ability to sort bags by item type e.g. one bag quest item another armor/clothing another harvestable items or consumables automatically without have to take half an hour or so dropping and dragging.
Taking it one step further preference bag slots the same way, as you acquire items they would fill a particular bag or bags first, is this possible ?

Neither is possible currently. We have no way to manage inventory space or items via the UI.

Sort of obvious now given that reasoning thx. Sort of dunce though that give the multitude of items and how long the games been around that it has yet to be give a looks see, correct me if it has.

The UI gets little attention, even when it makes most sense to be noticed when new features go in. Devs in the past have responded to requests of sortable items, etc, but with little follow up or any response besides "we'll take it into consideration" or "we'll look into it in the future".

without a bigger team, and a leader producer who works on two different games at the same time, the UI just needs to work "enough".

t would be soooo simple for them to add a feature that would allow us to set each back as to what item type would go into it when looted.

For instance...

1) Click click on Bag 1
2) Select "Filter"
3) Choose Weapons & Armor
4) Click OK

Rince and repeat for each bag. Making one for quest items and so on.

The problem comes from the VAST number of items in the game.

All you can do is /feedback in game.

Like you said, it's due to the vast amount of items in-game already. Adding it as a feature for all items going forward: not as big a deal. But going back and editing every item would take a huge amount of time.

Just look at how much itemization on gear with stats gets screwed up when they make blanket changes to mass items. Don't get your hopes up.
