a change in lanchpad?

I have been using ProfitUI for a long time.To Load EQ2 I have always just run my EQ2Mapupdater once it did it's thing it auto launched EQ2 with Profit as my interface. I'm not sure what has changed (and no I have not made any changes to my system) but since I think Monday or Tuesday this no longer works. Everything at first seems to be running thru the normal steps but I end up with a small pear shaped log in that does say station.com at the to under that is a 'station launchpad' with an unclickable arrow. If I try and log in I get a message that simply says unable to play. Any ideas?

You probably need to go into setting and re-point the app at LaunchPad. The new LaunchPad starts the game with a local copy of LaunchPad rather than eq2.exe, so you need to be sure that it's pointing at launchpad.exe instead.

Glad we could help. :) This issue hit everyone who uses a custom UI with a Launch feature.

i uninstalled eq2 maps. reinstalled and picked the right target. now it works fine.

Interesting. You should have been able to reset the target without reinstalling, but at least you got it to work.

It does point out that sometimes a major update to a large application that you have run for a while might justify the effort of clean re-install.
