EQ2 Maps and Quest Journal
 

I have been using the Journal mod from http://eq2.fluffy.dk/ for a years. I also use EQ2 Maps. In a custon UI directory I have both, and in the default I have just the journal mod. If I load the custom UI with both installed, everytime I update a quest, the quest journal pops open. The problem doesn't occur in the Default where I have only the journal mod.

I would love some suggestions as to how I might get rid of the very annoying journal pop-ups. I'd even donate some station cash... :)

EQ2MAP does not affect the quest journal in any way. If you're installing the fluffy mod into the default it is most likely getting overwritten since the default folder is patched by the game. Was the mod working when you did that?

Your best bet is to install the fluffy mod into its own folder (including setting up the game to point to that folder) and then run the EQ2MAP updater.

I have been using them together years, so I was skeptical... but you were right. Problem solved. :nana:
