Zam Crashes Profit Browser
Besides the previous problems I posted about with the in game browser I now have another problem
Everytime I pop an ingame browser to Alakazam it crashes Everquest II. Even if I maximize the browser first. Maximizeing is pretty much the only thing I can do as I am unable to re-size the browser. It loses focus and then everytime I move the mouse over the browser it gets smaller and smaller. It loses focus everytime I move off the browser. If I start typing into an input line it uses every keypress as a command for eq2. Is there another ingame browser I can replace the profit browser with? If so how do I go about doing that. (Not the stupid default ui browser):( |
Have you tried it in the default UI's browser? They're all just styled versions of the same browser underneath, which is quite old (it's based off Firefox 1.x) and thus has some natural bugginess.

Known issue: the in-game brower's based on an old (pre-Firefox) version of Mozilla, which the current Flash plug-in's not compatible with (it requires Firefox 3 or later). Unfortunately the in-game browser searches for system-installed plug-ins and uses them, so visiting any site with Flash on it's got a high probability of crashing the game. The only work-around is to find the Flash plug-in library (NPSWF32.dll) and rename it to something that doesn't end in .dll.
Uninstalling Flash isn't an option, since the new launchpad requires it. |
I don't know if this will solve your problem but if you click on the link provided or copy it into your Internet address bar it will take to you to the Station.com website and on page 3 of the thread at the very bottom is a temporary solution to the problem that you may be having created by Falacy. It appears that it has something to do with Adobe Flash 10.3. and Sony are looking into it to solve the problem outright.
