Window for each Tradeskill window?
 

Is it possible to have a window for each phase of the trade skill windows? Like a window for the recipes, one for the resources and one for the progress/counters so they would all be on your screen at the same time? The UI I am using now morph's into each window as you make your selection.

It looks like it might actually be possible. I'll add it to my tinkering list and post here when I have a definate answer.

Quick answer is yes. Running into trouble with getting them to recognize which sub-window should be on top, getting them to behave correctly with showing/hiding, etc., (also, you can't save edited filters without hitting the Edit button on the list window, and other junk like that) but you can have all 4 windows up during the crafting process.

Attaching my monstrosity if anyone else wants to experiment.

Ok what about this. Can you make 1 window with everything on it but smaller like take the existing default UI make the recipes smaller and down the right side the length of the window with popup desc. (mouseover) for each icon, OR just put the recipes on a seperate window you can get to from a tab at the top.

Make the progress bars smaller like the size of your health bar or the spell casting bar.

Run counters smaller and at bottom.

Have "ALL" the buttons situated middle bottom of menu so when you move between what would normally be 3 windows the buttons grey out when not on that window but are still shown all the time. (hopes that makes sence)

I wish I could work on this but I just have zero, no wait negative zero understanding of the coding involved in UI's. Would be cool to see a more streamline tradeskillz window though.

I hope maybe at the very least I offered some ideas to think about.
