Basic Manual Install
 

Folks,
Could someone please describe for me (or send a link to an existing page) just a basic installation of the manual version of EQ2map?

I have never utilized any sort of complete custom UI & am not inclined to at this time (i.e. Profit, Fetish, etc). I would just like to be able to utilize the map w/in the defaul EQ2UI (if that is even possible??), but it seems that all of the guide/faq info describes installation of an entire custom interface. I was expecting a simple "drop folder in here" and "this is how it starts when EQ2 launches."

I suspect that this is an incredibly noobish request, as it seems pretty obvious to me but I can't find the answer. If so, I can probably live with that but would still much appreciate assistance. :)

In case it matters: utilizing Win7-64bit.

Just click the F.A.Q. link on top it has a section which explains how to install interfaces.

Also I noticed the manual download is over a year old now, will see to update it one of these days.

Of course if you used the EQ2MAP Updater (or another updater for EQ2MAP) then it would install it and keep it up to date for you.
