Patch from Today
 

Heyas i have a problem when i try to log in then says me eq2 a message eq2 client crash exe like this..so i cant play atm..anyone know how to fix it ? I use Fetish ui :P

Hm tried to copy the default eq2ui_mainhud_persona.xml to my fetish but it didn't work.

Do you guys still have a eq2ui_mainhud_persona.xml in your fetish dir atm?

At least deleting that file was what I did at the time of this thread to get eq2 working again:

I deleted the file eq2ui_mainhud_persona.xml but fetish still doesn't want to work.

If you open EQ2_crash.log in your EQ2 dir, with for example notepad,

do you have the similar bottom line in this section?

Temporary fix is to delete:

eq2ui_mainhud_knowledge.xml

to delete the knowlede file did not work for me. client still crashes :mad:

Quick fix to get in game
 

The two files updated today were eq2ui_mainhud.xml and equ2ui_mainhud_knowledge.xml. I left the first file alone. The knowledge file I renamed under Fetish UI to eq2ui_mainhud_knowledge_original.xml Then I copied the new file from under the Default UI to Fetish. Yes, you have to look at the ugly new window, but you can now play until someone way smarter than I patches the UI. Hope this helps. :o

Deleating didn't work. I'll check back in a bit to see if there's a patch.

Patch is up for Fetish but I had to update it to correct a button placement issue once I got to test in game.

Version 1.2 works great. Test researching and sorting. I do not have an item to Speed Up research to test that feature. I assume this is an LoN or Station Cash item to reduce the necessary research time required for a current research task.

Patch worked great thanks so much... I was almost ready to go back to the default UI <shudders>
