no side bar
 

since the update I have not had the side bar thing where you can pick to show on the map I have to type what I am looking for in and hope I am typing the correct names. I have asked in general chat and everyone else seems to have theirs. I thought I was bugged but it is still happening

Not sure what you are referring to. :(

Maybe its filter poi's in which case thats right click and filter poi on the menu.

I used to have a side bar that had subjects like mobs, quest update, locations, etc that you could expand then click on and it would give you a way point

Everything is checked and there are POI's on the map itself

I don't get what this sidebar thing you are talking about is. Everything is fully functional with the eq2maps that I have always seen.

Have you tryed press the 'All' button ?

before the update on the right side of the map was a listing of all the POI's by category ie quest update, mobs, named mobs each had a plus box and if you clicked on it it expanded and listed them. now I cant even type anything in the box. last night I was looking for a mummy typed it in nothing so I had to resort to hovering over every POI on the map and hoping to find it (which I never did had to resort to the internet)

yes, I have tried all, path, etc all the buttons on the top

that category thing at the side although at this point i would be happy just to type something in and have it come up I wish someone could help me :mad:

Have you tried completely removing eq2maps and reinstalling it?

Don't think that helps to reinstall MAP.
You could try to uncheck all the map settings and press ok
Return to settings and set them as my post link picture above, the list should appear when you press ALL or enter a search word.
