Opening but can't log in?

I downloaded the Add-on. After hours of trouble, I think I got it all figured out, except that when it starts up Everquest 2, it starts it on a background screen of Everquest 2 Shadow Odyssey and then asks me to login. Problem here is that it doesn't accept my log in! It tells me "Could not connect to a login server. The servers may be busy; please try again in a few mins. Have I done something wrong?

I'm guessing you are talking about eq2maps? If so you have it set to open everquest2.exe instead of eq2.exe. Change that in the options and it should have you log in through the patcher like you seem to be used to.

I don't see a eq2.exe

Are you using the eq2maps auto updater?

The picture shows the spot I am talking about assuming you are indeed referring to eq2maps.

Yeah, I can't find a EQ2.exe file.... I'm using Windows 7 64bit if that means anything.

You should be able to right click the icon for eq2 on your desktop and choose properties...the target field should give you the path you need to the eq2 file.

It is most likely in Programdata which is a hidden directory in windows 7.

If it's a new patcher it won't be called EQ2.exe. It (the patcher executable) will be called something like Launcher.exe.
