EQ2 mods: ProfitUI and EQmaps and the Halas Update?

Hi Folks.

Just wanted to ask something kind of simple. I haven't played in about two months, as I was saving some money up, and waiting for the update. According to news outlets and twitter, New halas is going live right after the maintenance.

My friend sort of did the resizing of the windows and whatnot for me because I'm hopeless with UI Design, and I'm pretty sure the only things that are in my mods are ProfitUI and The EQ2 Maps addon.

I was wondering if Profit UI will be kind of unusable for a little while due to the Storyteller system, or if it'd be okay to resub today and see what happens with the mod. Also, will Eq2maps be okay?

Thanks for any light shed on this. I'd appreciate it. :)

I'm not sure if the Storyteller tab is a breaking modification as I didn't load on test. I do know everything is working as far as the UI and EQ2Maps goes and that it will get updated fairly quickly once we see the changes. I was looking for a UI compare this morning but didn't see one yet.

Thank you for the update.

I suppose waiting a day or so won't hurt, even if my sense of delayed gratification won't allow it. :)

you will probally be able to play just fine. I would relete the journal files if they are game breaking until the update comes or simply rename them.

How do I do that, exactly? I am not quite sure what I'm doing when it comes to mods.
