Installing custom UI after expansion
 

I ended up doing an un-install and re-install after the expansion. I am trying to install DrumsUI and having no luck. I have followed the install instructions to the letter, but can't seem to get the UI to load. I have noticed that SOE has thrown a bit of a curve. I have a new, faster 1.5 tb drive so took mesures to install program there, now I have the program in D:program files/sony/everquest II. I also found protions of program on C:program files/Sony Online Entertainment/installed games/Everquest II. On which of these do I install the Custom UI, and has anything else changed to keep UI from loading. I have tried it both places by the way, with no luck. I would really appreciate some help, because I very much dislike the default tradeskill UI, and as I am a tradeskiller first and adventurer second, this is drasticly affecting my enjoyment of the game. Sense expansion launch I have only log in enough to try and get the UI to load, then given up in disgust and found something else to do with my time, would really love to be leveling tradeskillers and such instead.

Right click and hit properties on the shortcut you use to launch the game. That will be the path to the install you want to put the UI into.

Thanks, at least I now know I'm installing in the right place, too bad it didn't work. Not sure what to do now.

You can try installing with the DrumsUI Updater here:

As long as it's pointing to the right folder, it'll setup the rest for ya.

Thanks Drumstix, I'll give that a try!

I just installed Vert but it won't work I did the steps one at a time to make sure I did not goof it up please help. Also when i did a /loadui it did not come up
