Character and Class specified UI's
 

As a fan of EQ II and this site, i would like to have class specified UI's for my Characters.
Ex: Bard UI's could have notes and Bard instruments around on their UI
Or you could add racial UI's
Ex: An Iksar could have Iksar heads or entire characters around on their windows, like on the inventory.

Good idea :) I was toying with something similar in my head but haven't acted on it. Mainly because my graphic skills are less than... adequate I believe. Unless you're groovy with "Pong" ;)

Since a lot of this is still relatively new, most of us are still trying to find out to what extent we can control things. After that dies down a bit I would expect a lot more complete graphical overhaul UI mods

It looks like no one is interested in making such UI's :(

Popularity for this will happen just takes time :)

a functioning /loadui would prolly move things along a bit I imagine!

There are/have been post about UI switching. And there's even a UI switcher for download....

Try looking around some more.
Basically you have a shortcut for each character witch calls a batch file to copy the UI of your choice into the recent.ini (or whatever it's called). And if you want the other UI to load when you load EQ2, you run a different short cut.

Yes I know about that... and its a great mod... but I am referring to those that aren't as... umm involved? as some of us that don't want to deal with outside programs.

Besides... its all moot. Someone will make one or is making one when they feel like they want to :)
