Quest Helper for a noob
 

I just want the closest thing to WoW questhelper but for EQ. Basically a program that puts X or dots or whatever on the map so i know where to go for the quest. Is there such a thing? If it makes a small arrow that points even better but w/e. Im totally new (just started 3 days ago on sunday) and i don't know if ProfitUI is the one that i want. Maybe someone can tell me the mod i want and link the spot to the "omg you are dumb" section on how to install it.

the closest thing you can get to that is EQ2MAP -- it'll put POIs on your map, but it's up to you to tell them apart and search for the one's you need. At this time it is not possible to selectively display POIs for just the quest you are interested in.
