New Dances?
 

So decided to read some more tweets from SOE peeps and found this one by Brenlo yesterday... http://twitter.com/Brenlo/status/5438026965

Person Tweets wishing EQ2 had many different dances like WoW, Brenlo links to this youtube video... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=miZlaa6UPHY in reply. Looks like some new dances are in the works! I can't wait.

Having fun with the new twirl dance rewarded from doing the DDR in the old haunted house in the city. If you loop it just right it looks like your smacking that ***.

As for the dances... ehh... I dunno. I'd rather see different hair styles added to the game before new "dances", LOL. Like... head thrashing in EQ2? Where does that even fit in to the game? *shrug*

I mean anything beats the quite interesting default dance of most of the races I suppose. Emotes were one of the very cool things that I remember when first launching EQ2 at release. There's a lot of those "cool" features they have yet to be improved/built upon!

Looks like a /headbang, hehe.

I have a bunch of the SOE folks followed on Twitter, it's interesting to see the little sneak peaks they let out. Still annoyed that I miss the occasional bit because it's a reply to some random person (and doesn't show up normally).

My guild mates and I had a lot of fun the other night dancing in our guild house with the 2 new dances from the haunted house. Although they are short they can be looped to make some really fun dances. We would all key in over our mic with music and dance to it. Anyways thats when we found that looping the twirl dance really fast went well with the song back smack that ***. :cool:

So I hope they put in a ton of dances, even little short ones. Although I don't want them spending a ton of time on this. Theres much more important area's they could use their animators time on.
