The is currently a new What bugs you the most? Thread going on the official forums. That would be a good place to post about the things that bug you about the UI, like the problems with i8n chars.

Last year they aggregated how often which item was mentioned, so even if someone already posted something you concur with, please repeat it, so it gets more "votes".
