Crash when it gets to loading ui settings
 

Everything use to be fine when playing eq2 - but now something isn't working right - sometimes it will load and I get on and then it crashes - but most times it loads, i can type & chat in guild chat but it has the loading brown square box up still and always stops when it gets to loading ui so I am figuring it has to do with the UI settings. I removed them, downloaded again and still not working. I use the profit UI and am on a live server not the test server.

have you tried the default ui to see if you still have the same problem?

I deff know what you're talking about hearofgold. Mine does the same thing, and i asked other ppl, and they say they had the same problem also. I thought it was the UI(s) i had, so i went back to the default, and still did it. I've notice that since the last big patch, it started doing it for me. But not sure why it is doing it, but it has slowed down alittle from crashing. Hopefully maybe this next patch fixes it maybe. Anyone find out why it does it and can fix it, please post lol.

if it does it with Default /bug report it to SoE since it would be a game iissue.

Loading UI Settings
 

I'm having this issue also. Getting stuck at "Loading UI Settings".
It's only recently become a problem, but I have not been able to log in successfully for 2 days.
I have changed eq2.ini to point to the defaukt interface, but now this causes the same issue.

I ran into this problem on the last big update. It turned out when I went back to an older version of th Nvidia drivers everything worked fine. I noticed that Nvidia just released a new version of their drivers yesterday. I haven't tried them yet.

The version I'm currently using is 190.62
