UI that shows DPS?
 

Is there a small UI that shows your DPS? I am a newish L 80 Swashie, I know about ACT, but that's about it. I am just looking for a small bar or window that says what DPS I am doing, not a full ACT readout which I don't yer understand.

It's funny you ask. I actually have a mod semi-made that shows self DPS/Max DMG, but I'm sort of having trouble getting the Max Dmg numbers to reset after X amount of time has elapsed after you are no longer "hated" by anyone or any mobs. It actually does loop pretty well, and sometimes its stops every now and then, besides that I believe I had my game up for an hour or so and the loop was still running with no errors. Errors seem to only occur rarely when zoning/desktopped.

I have it set to update the DPS every six seconds.

Well, so long as it wouldn't upset any of my other mods I use, I wouldn't mind helping test it. Don't know the frst thing about programing or making anything like this, but I have been involved in a lot of game Beta tests, especially with one particular Indy company. :)

I too would love a DPS mod.

I've played WoW in the past and they have some really great mods for things like this. Hopefully we can get something for EQ2 as well! :)

Allowing you the option to see your total damage and or your DPS as well as those in your group/raid.

IDK how similar/dis-similar EQ2 and WoW modding is (in terms of the actual code and what can be done). Hopefully similar though, as that would allow for the mod to be created rather quickly :)

I can only calculate your character's DPS.

Worlds apart. The vast majority of WoW mods can't 'translate' to EQ2 mods.
