Access Denied ERROR w/ Vista
 

I've searched the forums and wasn't able to find any threads on Access Denied error when trying to extract an addon to eq2/ui/bobsui. I use winrar and when I try to extract any addons to my custom ui folder I get "Access Denied." If anyone has any idea why this is happening or how to fix it, it would be greatly appreciated.

My momma always said run as admin in vista and that's all I have to say about that.

Anything installed inside the Program Files directory is protected by the UAC, I got sick of it so I moved the EQ2 directory to the root C:\Everquest II, just change the path in the Station Launcher to the new directory and point any other patcher there (eq2maps, profit, etc).. no more access issues.

Could turn UAC off in the control panel, however thats feature is probably saving a lot of people from getting viruses and such.. however I find myself mindlessly clicking "Yes" anyway ...

Actually the real reason I moved it was I dual boot Windows 7 and Vista and they don't play nice when files are in each others Program Files.. Same type of access issues.
