Warning-Some files cound not be downloaded......
 

For several days now every time I run the Updater I get an error 'Some files could not be downloaded! Please try again later!'. The only file left on list of files to be D/Led is eq2ui_mainhud_player.xml. I have tried deleting this file in ProfitUI directory and it does not help, I keep getting error. When I manually retrieve this file from Profit site and then run the Updater still tries to d/l it. Any suggestions?

sounds like security software such as your antivirus blocking the file

I am having the same issue now with this file. I shut down my virus and firewall and tried it again. Still got the same error.

That means the files' checksum announced by the server does not match the checksum of the file actually downloaded. This happens when the file gets corrupted while up- or downloading.

Right now someone is flooding my DNS server. Unfortunately I had logging still in verbose mode, so the log file filled up all free space left on the servers' hard disk. I think thats how the files got corrupted while uploading.

To fix this, gm9 has to upload the files again (all files, not only the changed *hint*) ...

No thanks. I did a clean install ('cept images) using the updater earlier. All files came through. That's why I said the problem must be client side.

But hey, I also have a bottom bar and working subclass detection. Meh.

I noticed the subclass detector file is broken as well, and I update via a vpn directly to the server :P
Well, something is broken somehow, I'll restart the server, you may upload the fles again. If it is not working after that, I have to check it again this evening...

yeah the detector was broken, it hadn't uploaded completely for whatever reason, but I did reupload it before I even posted. All other files were fine including the player window mentioned in the OP.
