Maybe y'all can help -- disappearing options window
 

You know that options window that comes up when you hit alt-o or go to the EQII start menu and select options? Well, I've discovered a bug (and yes, /bug'd it) where somehow my window keeps going completely transparent and the only "solution" I've gotten is to delete the character's ini and start over.

Not acceptable to me. :p

I was wondering if there was some way y'all knew of to reset the transparency on that one, and/or some custom UI that I could apply that would fix it.

I've tried loading the ini into notepad to fix, but as I'm sure y'all know here, that's not just a plain text file.

Any suggestions?

2 options. Get the characters ini file set up exactly how you want it and
1. copy it and stick it somewhere so you can use it to replace one when it goes bad.
2. get it set up how you want it and then make the file READ ONLY. then no settings on it will ever be able to be changed so you will proabably want to do #1.

sorry i dont have a better solution, but perhaps someone else does.

I'm also having the same problem. The only way I can access my options window now is if I do it from the character select screen. Nothing seems to work to fix this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I know this is an old thread - but I'm having the exact same problem. I don't know what to do.
