Spell effects/Maintained Spells windows
 

Hi Guys!

I was just wondering if any of you could please do a mod so that the maintained and spell status windows have an addition to their mouseover/tooltip so that they show the person a particular spell has been cast on or has been cast by?

This would be extremely handy due to the fact that I'm an Illusionist, and I have to cast multiple breeze spells, amongst others, for each group member, and they only last for 3 minutes. I try to have a cycle going, so I know who's runs out when, but it isn't always possible to maintain in heated battle. So if any of you could create a mod that would display who has cast each spell (for the spell status window, just because this would be a nice feature. I'm sorry if this is a bit cheeky asking for this as well), as well as who you have cast the spell on (for the maintained spell window), that would be a great help!

Also, if it's not being even more cheeky to ask, please could you make the two windows 3/4 the normal size as well? If so, that would be amazing!

Instead of the buff names in the maintained window (like you can do on test) the name of the person you casted the spell on would be alot more informative (i know what all MY icons do). And i dont think its too unreasonable. Try requesting a tag for the maintained window that shows the name of the person being effected by a spell.

I'm thinking some like this (pretend the banana is a spell icon)

It would help buffers out alot and wouldnt cause alot of clutter, it not too much information, cause would only going to work for YOUR spells.

I'm glad you think it's a good idea too! I followed your link, but it seems it had already been suggested before, by Daimond (who is in the exact same position as me) number 19.

Is it a case of hoping the developers take note of this list then you think, or could someone manage to do it?

It would be a huge help, and it can be seen that it's not just me who thinks it would be a good idea!

we have to wait until the developers give us the data (if they decide that they want to) and then we could make a ui mod that does it.

How about having the name of the person the spell has been cast on being next to the symbol, as Insomniac suggested? He seemed to think this was possible, and having thought about it, this would be the better option...

If you, or anyone else, can do this, you could well be the saviour to all Illusionists everywhere! And a great person too ;)
