hotbar request
Would it be possible to have a hotbar with
1 - = ctrl 1 - = alt 1 - = Full size and the rest of the banks 1/2 size? |

yes it most certainly would, here ya go. you will probably want to move the text somewhere else but this does work, 1st button 44,44 and the rest 22,22. at first i wasnt sure it would be possible but then it hit me on how to do it.
EDIT: GET FILE FROM BOTTOM POST, the first 2 are not what you wanted, it was my mistake! |

heres one with the text below the bottons that are small so you can still see the button icons. im not sure which way you want it so i will leave them both

i just realized i screwed up your request, you asked for 1, -, and = full size, and i only made 1 full size. i will fix it but i will have to do it tomorrow, so maybe you can figure out what i did yourself and then change it.

ok i fixed one of them this SHOULD work but i didnt get a chance to test this paticular version, let me know wether or not it works when you get a chance :D

I explained my request very poorly. :o
ok let me try to do better. You know how you can open a second hotkey bar and this bar will be the ALT#bar and you can open a third hotkeybar it will be the CTRL# bar. I would like those 3 bars to be full size. And the rest of the hotkeybars 4th bar,5th bar etc. through whatever to be 1/2 size. I really appreciate the time and effort you put into this taco-man. Sorry i wasnt more clear. :nana: |
Should be possible with some clever scripting... I'll look into it.

i know at least a temporary way to do this, until someone figures out a better way. make a seperate window that has a button that changes the hotbars volume size and each of the slot images inside the volume. when i was working on something else that did something similar to this i noticed when you make a window that does this it only changes the most recent hotbar, not all of them so as long as you click the button at the right time it will only change the ones you want it to, this is only a temporary solution though, because every time you log in you will have to do it again. sorry if that isnt the best explanation, but we will still have to figure out some other way to do this, so its not a tradgedy if you dont understand my crazyness.

Got it set up with OnHide and OnShow on the labels, seeing if it works now... they put a Voiceover pack on the test patcher...

And it works. :D
Couple of bugs: - (Game bug on all UIs) Sometimes when you log in, you'll have duplicate secondary and tertiary hotbars (More than one will have Ctrl or Alt). You need to close and re-open these to clear them. Nothing I can do about that. -I wasn't able to make the window itself automatically resize when you make it a primary/secondary/tertiary (or make it not). OnShow gets called when you change that but not OnHide. So if you do change it you'll have to resize each time. All the buttons themselves resize properly, however. I recommend leaving the frame and backdrop on so you will know when this occurs. (Note: Based this off the Mook hotbar so bank selector is tied to Titlebar.) Enjoy! |
very clever how you did that, i couldn't figure it out at first

Awesome! Thanks! :nana:
