Eq2 maps not ....
 

showing on the new TSO maps. Back in Oct I was having issues so I ended up doing a full uninstall and reinstall of the game. Dec 1 I got the 1.1.2 version of EQ2 maps to DL np etc and if this were the old system my maps would be working properly ... BUT......for some reason when I open the TSO maps it is not showing anything cept zones and common areas (Yellow dots). I get no points of where quest items might be and I don't have maps for alot of the zones that I used to with the old system. Dir that eq2maps are is programs files/sony/everquest2. I do not know what the problem is but if anyone could help me figure this out would be nice.
I am not that exceptional when it comes to programs so please.....be gentle :nana:

Im not sure i got it right but the updater should not be installed in the everquest2 folder, use the default that comes up.
And the ui should endup in everquest2/ui/eq2map if this is the only ui you use, but the updater should take care of it to.

nope. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it and it keeps putting it in my eq2 folder only. Not sure why it's doing that and maps still doesn't work.

Ok. Select C:\Program Files\ as you install dir then and try again

I think one of the issues i'm having is when I open the options up and under everquest 2 the links shown is C:\Users\<My name>\Downloads. I don't know why this is doing this and i've even tried changing it but it won't. Is there an uninstall that i can do that will completely remove eq2maps so I can try to re download? I've tried removing b4 but seems i've got this everywhere but the right spot. I'm not that good with programs so if you could actually type the links as I need to go and which side of the board(ie..eq2map left side or right side 2nd box etc...) I would appreciate it.

You could press the browse button in Options window and try to locate the everquest2.exe file yourself, this should work to.
