Boho Skin WIP
While I have uncompleted versions of Fetish Nightfall, SARS (another one I'm working on almost as much as this one), and World of Warcraft skins sitting here waiting for me to complete, my latest skin project has been the Boho Skin.
I liked the skin and was intrigued when I first saw it. This skin is over half way finished and I just wanted to show it to everyone as a preview. It's not going to beta, but I just wanted to see what everyone's first impressions are. Enjoy! ![]() |
Cool. I'd use it. :)

Looks good, too much dead space for my taste tho.

Too bad there's no universal way to change the titlebar and some of the other individual fonts/color without having to edit that ui piece.
If it was made so nearly every UI text element used a style then it would make it much better/easier to skin a UI. Main reason would be so that you can actually change the color/font of ui text elements without having to edit those individual files. |
Yes I agree.. I have this issue with eXtreme. If they would make the WindowElement tree read from a template and used in all windows then skinning would be so much easier.

Yeah, I think I've seen posts from Zonx from '05 or '06 where he was holding off on other Fetish skins because color styles would be available soon. Guess we all had our illusions in the beginning. :)
Imagine CSS like UI styling, now that would be sweet. |
What's different in CSS?

I'm a big fan of CSS and before I came to work at SOE I was doing web development for about 6 years. Keep in mind that when EQII went into development about 8 years ago, CSS wasn't as far along or popular as it is now.
BTW - I'm still trying to find time to implement a ColorStyle object. Oh, nice job on the skin too. |
That's cool that you're looking at that stuff. I like to do skins tremendously so this will make skinner's job more noticeable and easier.. Like myself and Zonx.
