diff UI for diff chars?
 

is it possible to have EQ2 auto detect and use different UI set ups for different characters? like i log in to my warden and its Profit, and i log in to my coercer and its Fetish, for example?


or even just have certain add ons for one character and not the others?

It's possible but inconvenient. The game only loads the UI on startup (the /loadui command theoretically can reload it on-the-fly, but it's horribly buggy and doesn't get things right a lot of the time). The only way to get a different UI is to exit the game, change the cl_ui_skinname entry in eq2.ini to point to a different UI and restart the game. I think there's at least one program out there to automate the process of changing eq2.ini, but you've still got to exit the game and restart and that's time-consuming.
