cant load game thru updater
 

i really have no idea what to do here. game does not load thru updater says i must do so manually. then mhen i do i still have no points of interest on maps. everything installed correctly and map updated but did not go thru to the game. any help is appreciated thanks

Can you take a picture of your options tab in the eq2map patcher and post it here? Or atleast paste the paths? Most likely one of your paths are wrong.

If you don't have any POI's in game, then the path to the game is wrong.
Search your computer for everquest2.exe
Open the options window in EQ2MAP updater, by the top most field press the browse button and browse to the same path.
This should work :)

still no poi
 

Okay im launching to game now from updater. But no poi in game map. I think i understand what must be done and i find the exe file i need when i go thru desktop icon. But when i browse from updater options cant get it to happen. I cant get a pic of my options tab on here this is what it says top one is in update on open slot


C:\Program Files (x86)\EQ2MAP Updater


this one is inAutolaunch eq2 slot

C:\Program Files (x86)\EQ2MAP Updater\EQ2.exe


there is nothing in the launch file 2 slot

oh yeah and when i browse to sony file in my common files i just get empty folders like another one did i read in forum.

That can't be the right path, should be somthing like ex:
c:\Program Files\Sony\Everquest2
and
c:\Program Files\Sony\Everquest2\eq2.exe

You can try to get the path from Eq2's desktop icon by right click it and select properties and check the Target Path.

Here is the paths that work im running vista

C:\Program Files (x86)\Sony\EverQuest II


C:\Program Files (x86)\Sony\EverQuest II\EQ2.exe
