But Why??

I followed the instructions and i cannot get this UI to work - i cant seem to find the EQ2.ini file.....do i need to download an earlier version? I have tried removing all files to include the EQ2maps and re-installing the UI and maps - any help please

The eq2.ini should be in the C:\Program Files\Sony\Everquest2 directory and should look something like this when opened:

ics_maxcameradistance 60
cl_movie_enabled 0
cl_ui_subdir UI/
cl_ui_skinname FetishNightfall

The FetishNightfall directory should be inside the C:\Program Files\Sony\Everquest2\UI folder.

Is not there by default .. You have to create it if it isnt there .. good luck

I don't see those files anywhere in the EQ2 directory - and i have no clue how to create it - any other suggestions? I really hate the default UI...thanks all

To create a text file, right click in the folder and go to "New ->" and then select "Text Document"

The rest is explained here:

I have found the EQ2.ini file and everything is where it should be - when i update EQ2maps it says that my UI is Fetishnightfall - when i get in game though it is still the default UI and no option of Fetish - where am i screwing up??

Double check that you extracted the Fetish UI files into your Everquest II/ui/Fetishnightfall/ folder, and check that the files exist there.
