Map window resizing on close, amd how to change default PW/server on startup?
 

Hey there, two small problems.

First my map window won't stay the size I make it and the position resets to the bottom right hand corner everytime I close/open it.

Also how do I change the default PW and character and server on the autostart so I don't have to type it everytime? Kind of annoying.

EDIT: Also have another problem I forgot about.

When I click an item that is linked on the chat window, 90% of the time I can't see the actual item it never shows. Sometimes it pops up but most of the time I can't even see it. Not sure if the window is being hidden or whats happening but it's real annoying, if anyone can help that would be great! Thanks again.

For your added problem: Yes, sounds like you have an examine window stuck off screen. There's ways of fixing that, ranging from deleting your uisettings (rather drastic) to just trying to move the window. I can't remember if the locator in Fetish allows you to move the window or not. You can also try using the 'restore default window locations' button in options, but that will move all your windows back to where they were.

Yeah that is something I don't wanna have to do hehe..

This behavior is by design. In the titlebar of the Fetish Mao you'll find a "D" buttton with a tooltip that reads "Show Default Dock". Click that to display the default Map dock. Now reposition and resize the dock however you want your Map configured normally.

You'll probably want to do the same for the "MiniDock", which configures the Map when Shrunk.

Open eq2ui_loginscene.xml with Notepad.
Hit CTRL + H to ring up the Replace dialog.
In the "Find what" box enter "PASSWORD" (all cap)
In the "Replace with" box enter your password.
Check the "Match Case" check box and click the "Replace All" button.

Do the same finding "SERVER" and replacing with your server name.

Note: Doing this is not recommended as it results in your server and password being saved in plain text on your drive. Anyone that gains access to your file system could easily access your account.

Most windows can be repositioned using th FetishLocator... unfortunetly Examine windows are an exception. You might find the following utility will serve that purpose.
