anyone have any idea why the only button showing on me voice bar is the talk one? no options, no users, no channel select. I can hover mouse over the spot they should be at and click there and it all works.. I just have no icons showing.. hahahaha...

bingo.. I replaced that file with the one from the default/images folder and there they be... I am concerned tho, that the one it replaced was larger than the new one... .. hhmm wonder what I've got missing.. lol.. :nana:

Thanks gm9.. :)

If it's larger that means that Zonx' version had a lower compression=better quality. :)

The Fetish UI mods almost no default images files.

ah, then are ye planing on updating your widget file to include the voicebar icons?

Zonx 08-08-2008 08:18 PM

Not at this time. I just tinted the default icons in XML. I may at some point add those icons to the fetish_widgets3.dds just to make them more consistant with how the group window icons look, but its minor cosmetics and shouldn't affect default files.

Eerrmm, I think having Icons showing on the voice bar, versus Not showing on da voice bar is a bit more than "minor cosmetics".. hehehehe

I think he meant his modified DDS was "minor cosmetics". Therefor, you can just use the default DDS for now.

Voice Chat

I can talk in the new chat, and i can hear also. I have all the buttons, voice options box too.
the window that show who is in the channel is blank, the text on the voice bar that tells you who is talking just says that i am speaking to the guild.
I also don't have a drop down window to allow me to change channels.

I have done a Fresh install of all the fetish files into my folder. I have double checked that all the files listed are in their correct places, and made sure that changes made to the mainhud.xml were correct too. If i load my default UI, the voice works fine, until i load fetish again.
I hope that i have provided enough info to allow you to tell me what i need to do.

You are still missing some components. If you take FetishNightFall 10.0 and extract it to the Sony\Everquest II folder it will create the FetishNightFall folder under Sony\Everquest II\UI.

Are you sure you did not extract it under Ui and now it has a UI\UI\FetishNightFall folder?

I have verified that FetishNightFall 10.0 works. So my guess is that you have copied it into a directory that previously existed with Fetish and some files were not overwritten properly or your eq2.ini file is pointing to the old Fetish folder and your new one is in the wrong path.

You should have in your Everquest II\UI folder

\Default
\FetishNightFall
..\eq2maps
..\images
..\infocenter
..\layouts
..(189 files)
\Fonts
