Is the File Uploader broken?

*edit* was a strange cache error. file is correct.

I just uploaded the new version of my Info Center but when I go to click download, it downloads the v2 zip?

It did this the first time, so I tried reuploading. No luck. However, now the v3 zip is in the archived list for download

Maybe a caching issue? Downloads v3 for me.

Ah ok, must be. I just checked my laptop comptuer, and it shows up fine. Strange. You can delete this topic if seen fit.

Next time try forcing your browser not to use cache... CNTRL - F5. There is no cacheing on our end in the upload area. Also make sure your not using proxy caching or that google caching program.

Moved post to correct forum.

I was aware of the Ctrl+F5 combo, but for an odd reason it wasn't updating properly for me. I had to do a manual "Clear Cache" from my browser.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hmm, either I'm going crazy or I have now experienced the same thing - I uploaded ProfitUI 4.7.0 this morning before leaving for work, it took the appropriate amount of time to upload the file and finally showed me the updated page. Now I'm checking back and it's still the old file....

It did take the v 4.7.0 edit, just not the file. After making my post here I went back and edited the text back to 4.6.9 to not confuse people. Usually I'd say that I simply forgot to select the "replace file" radio button but I saw it upload the file, that's why I don't think it was that. But maybe I'm just seeing things, it's way too hot here and this stupid office has not real air conditioning (just some passive water cooled ceiling, worst idea ever).

Looks like things are good now?

Strange problem, I know. Hard to tell if it is your own problem when you think you're not doing anything wrong. :D

last modified on: is set on any update, even if you just edit the description.
date: is only updated if a file is uploaded.

If you continue to have problems let me know.
