F9 First Persoon View Key
I am not sure if I am putting this in the right place or not. I having dabbing in changing the UI as a hobby for about a year. I am basically clueless, I just love computer programs. However, I have had 4 people this week ask me how to disable the F9 first person view key so they can use it for something else. I have searched thru every xml file and I can't find anything that to me looks like this command.
I am clueless like I said, so please forgive the newb question, but if I can help these people that would be nice. Is there a way to do this and if so can you just point me in the right direction? Thank you very much. |
Alt-O -> Controls ?

I think it is under options in-game.

Still hunting F9
Now I will admit my blond roots show quite often, but do you really think after 4 years of reading flames I would dare ask a question without checking alt 0? Not to mention doing a search in notepad light of every xml file in my directory. LOL.
No harm though, I got a huge laugh out of it. I hope it is in Alt -O and I am missing it, but I am telling you I can't find it if it is. A guildee would just like to be able to disable the key in the game to use for another command. I also have another quick question and I haven't searched for this one as hard but I have been searching. Is there a place and in what file for me to set titles to always show vertically no matter what. I know I need to update the profit button for raid, quality etc. If you could help me that would be great and there has to be some where else it needs to be updated because mine keep reverting back to horizontal. I really appreciate your responses. Hunting for F9 may be the title of a book before I find it. Thank you and if you can find it could you send it my way? Thanks again. |
If F9 is not in options then you can edit the keymap files directly and create a custom keyboard profile that assigns F9 to something else.
